What is LinkWithin Widget?
It's a widget that will boost your traffic.How........? It'll show some random post of your blog, (see below this post) below every post. most of bloggers use it.
Cuz readers can spot some interesting post easily with this widget. So they won't leave your blog early.
Add the widget by from official site
But there is no option to change its text or text style. but here i have found a easy way to customize them.
How to Customize?
Text
In the blogger HTML view, search for,
tag and place this code just before it.
Thats all! you can change the text by changing " Enter your Text here "in to something...
Text Style
Go to "Edit HTML" again. and search for </b:skin> and just above it place a CSS code to change the text style.
But make sure the code name is .linkwithin_text
EX:
.linkwithin_text { YOUR TEXT CSS CODE HERE
}
}
you can change any text style in this. Such as,
Color, Text decoration, Text shadow, border, padding,.....etc
Use your basic CSS knowledge to make an own code.
Or steal any others text style with Chrome
Here is an Example
.linkwithin_text {
color:#353535;
font-weight:bolder;
font:bold 16px "Droid Sans", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
text-decoration:none;
margin:0 0 10px;
padding:15px 1px 1px;
text-shadow: 0px -1px 0px #79797A;
}
color:#353535;
font-weight:bolder;
font:bold 16px "Droid Sans", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
text-decoration:none;
margin:0 0 10px;
padding:15px 1px 1px;
text-shadow: 0px -1px 0px #79797A;
}
ThanX.. Never though about changing it...!

Thanks for this tip. Such tips are very helpful for those common people who would like to know at least a little in adding effects to their blogs. white label seo
ReplyDeleteSo I customized the title text to change it into an image instead, and I made the text blank so it wouldnt overlap the image, but occasionally the default "you might also like" pops up for no reason and overlaps my image. Any way to remove the text permanently?
